elliot smith died in 2003? what the jesus. i made a comment the other day about him sounding like a nick drake gram parsons esque modern day singer. and now i find out (thanks to deadoralive.com, which by the way, i wasn't looking for him but i thought that accidental stabbing was a catergory) it is quite mysterious, they don't think anyone killed him, but he was stabbed, which is quite a weird way to commit suicide. anyway. i'm upset, why do they hot die young (eg nick drake, gram parsons, elliot smith, james dean. he sings needle in the hay among other things. this is depressing. also i'm kind of getting into the song you're so vain by carly simon, and want to know very badly who it's about. don't bother giving suggestions, she won't tell anyone so its all just speculation.
