why books are superior to movies

i saw the newest Harry Potter movie. I have to say, i was dissapointed. Obviously I realize they couldn't fit a 800 page book into a 2 hr film. HOWEVER, they were originally going to make 2 feature length films, and cut it down to one, the script was only 150 pages. here are just a few of the many things left out of this film, i hope for the next time around they get the same director that did prisoner of azkaban, he was good.
reasons why hp 4 the book was better than hp4 the movie
a) they didn't show ron's house

b) they didn't show the quidditch world cup properly

c) they didn't explain anything about SPEW or house elves or how there are like a thousand working at hogwarts and how they set up the tables and stuff

d) they had maybe 2 scenes with Rita Skeeter and in the book she was a major character

e) they didn't explain the dark mark or what it was why it was on their arms etc

f) they only had one pensieve scene and the pensieve is the best part of that book, and it shows karakoff who is not that important

g) the book went into detail about mr.crouch and who he was and how he was so ruthless he put his son in jail, and it showed the trial and explained how he escaped azkaban

h) percy was mr.crouch's assistant in the book and we got to see charlie weasley as well because he is in the beginning and brings the dragon there and this is how fleur meets him and eventually marrys him

i) it didn't explain how minister of magic fudge was in the trial and how he was accused of supporting voldemort

j) it didn't show how he (fudge) also refused to believe that voldemort had returned

k) it didn't show the maureders map which is a crucial part to figuring out mad eye moody is really barty crouch jr (because ihe shows up on the map even though crouch has died and barty crouch jr. reportedly died)

l) sirius black is in 1 scene, when in the book he debates coming back in order to help harry, and you see him a bunch of times

m) it didn't explain why the janitor was watching the house, that it was voldemorts house and how the family had died.

n) it didn't talk about mad eye moody in the beginning, and how he was paranoid and thought his house was being attacked (when in fact crouch was kidnapping him) and filed a report with the ministry

o) they didn't show floo powder

p)hagrid was hardly in the movie, and it didn't explain that he is half giant which the book does, which then leads to hagrid having an alliance with the giants in order of the pheonix because his half brother is a giant, and it doesn't show madame maxime being upset when accused of being a giant because of course the thing is never mentioned

q) it doesn't explain why there are other schools of magic (which hermione does in the beginning)

r) it doesn't show harry giving his tri wizard earnings to fred and george which is how they open their trick shop in hp6

s) it doesn't show any of rita skeeters articles, it didn't show mrs. weasley being mad at hermione over the articles (when correct me if i'm wrong they spend christmas at their house don't they? and there is also a scene where everyone is playing quiddicth in the back yard at the weasley house that isn't shown, and the clock that shows where everyone is isn't in it)

t) the dance was cheesy instead of being good and also it didn't show why hermione suddenly looks good (because they shrunk her teeth and straightened her hair in the book after she ends up in the infirmary) also i don't remember there being a rock band at the yule ball, maybe i forgot about it though

u) half the book is devoted to a ron harry fight, and ron is mad at harry for like 1 scene in the movie

v) it doesn't explain what happened to nevilles parents, and also why he was so upset by the curse shown in class (because his parents were put under that curse and are now insane)

w) it didn't develop the relationship between sirius and harry enough, sirius dies in the next book and harry wants to avenge his death, this doesn't make sense if he barely knows him

x) i know this is from the last movie but pris of az never showed that snape knew harrys parents and why he has been protecting him, because harry's dad saved his life

y)after harry returns from the grave yard 1) it explains why harry and voldemorts wand melded (because they are brother wands and both share a feather from dumbledores pheonix) and 2) harry tries to tell everyone who was at the grave yard but no one believes him (eg malfoy, crabbe, goyle etc 3) voldemort talks about crouch in the grave yard and didn't in the movie (he doesn't name him i don't think but it's obvious because he is like 1 person never denounced me blah blah blah) it doesn't show snape getting the dark mark

z) it doesn't explain about how they need to take action now, how the dementors and giants will join the dark lord and then it sets up for the defense against the dark arts club in the next book, and the alliance for the giants, etc

sometimes i park in handicapped spaces while handicapped people make handicapped faces

did you witness/ experience America's next top model? jesus... i would have KILLED tyra. seriously, you don't do that. for ppl who didn't see it, tyra was like (to nicole and jayla)" we were so dissapointed with both of you, that you both have to go pack your things" and so obviously they BOTH start hysterically crying then tyras like "Because no ones going home! we're all going to london" intensity at its finest...... also gilmore girls, this week, Luke has an illegitamate daughter, rory moved back in, luke and lorelei had a fight, emily is buying a PLANE, because she and rory had a fight. good god there were dramatics, ALSO i love the grandfather.

also, america's next top model is tonight, its amazing, i really want kim to win, and or the bitchy one...jayla, anyway

its really good they have trivia and absurd quotes. Anyway halloween came and went this year with out consequence. we had a halloween dinner partay, and i have to say our pumpkin soup was good, we served it IN a pumpkin (i know we're geniuses) i was minnie mouse, and then at york i was a cowgirl which seemed to be everyones raison d'etre costume, that and cats. anyway, it was good, not as exciting as in past years.
