you're so vain, you probably think this blog is about you

this seemed to be kind of relevant if you refer back to my skating with celebrities entries, although skating is classy, and well dancing is just kind of sad (drew lachey much...)
a) do i LOOK old? i was singing you're so vain at karaoke the other evening (and what an evening it was) but then i wasn't singing it properly, because although i know the chorus thats the only part of the song i know, and so the rest of it was sung to the tune of the chorus, which it is not normally sung in, in a key not normally sung in, anyway.... these oldish middle aged men were at the front, and were trying to help me, and one was like, trying to hit on me and pretend that i was young (which i AM) and was like hey darlin you remember when this song came out? you musta been in diapers..... UM HELLO, it came out in 1973! not only was i not born, but i WOULDN'T be born until 12 years later, my dad was still in law school and my parents had not met. i am NOT 33 or 34 i am 21.

b) have i started dressing like a metrosexual MAN? a boyish man on the bus had the exact same outfit as me, but in different colours. 1) he was wearing a scarf like mine, 2) he was wearing almost the same coat as mine 3) we both had mp3 players (which by the way i HATE the stupid pods for your ears, they are uncomfortable and can cause early deaffness) and 4) was wearing jeans and the same shoes as me....... as i'm writing this i realize there are actually not that many similarities....

c) i am going to write a story about alexis' dad, and or one act play, his life is super scandalous and depressing.

d) my dad's murder case is being serialized in the hamilton spectator
go to www.thespec.com and then you go to the post mortem section in the main page, its interesting like pseudo canadian csi... in writing and without the plot twists

e) why is paris hilton being nominated to play mother theresa? has the world gone mental? she's had not 1 but 2 sex tapes come out in the past year. apart from that, she also doesn't look like a haggard old nun, and correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think they had the same accent....

landsdowne = trashy (as in oh my god thats so landsdowne)
kipling = out of the way, a hassle (i don't want to go there its so...kipling)

pape= awkward or embarassing (it was TRES pape)
bathurst= indie cool (yeah its got a nice bathurst vibe)
rosedale= classy (julia is soooo rosedale)
ossington and or finch= sketchy (i don't want to go there its a little well ossington)
highpark/runneymede/jane = nice (yeah its hp/r/j)
dundas west= smells bad (eww what dundas wests?)
